Un equipo comprometido con transformar el Call Center
Upbe es una plataforma de Inteligencia Conversacional. Nuestra visión es la de estructurar y categorizar de forma automática, masiva y escalable la información contenida en las conversaciones telefónicas entre clientes y empresas.
El equipo técnico está dividido en tres áreas: Software, Ciencia de datos e Infraestructura. Es un equipo con una amplia experiencia en desarrollo de producto. Y por otro lado, el equipo de negocio está dividido entre operaciones, ventas y marketing. El 70% de la compañía es equipo técnico. Y en el 30% restante hay muchísima experiencia en el sector del Call Center.

Your mission
Predictiva develops disruptive products based on Artificial Intelligence and Big data to transform Contact Centers, Enterprises and SMEs.
Our candidate will work within the DevOps & Infrastructure team to develop UPBE, our revolutionary Conversational Intelligence Platform based on Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will work on a first class Kubernetes cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) where complex software will run and escalate to process thousands of audio calls and messages daily for all of Predictiva customers.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on the new leading edge software technologies in the market (Big Data, Streaming, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Automatic Speech Recognition, Computational Linguistics) with a highly competent team in Málaga.
NOTE: This is a permanent position based in Málaga, Spain where we currently have a hybrid work model (office & remote). We have an awesome brand new office in one of the best ecosystems in Málaga city (“The Green Ray”), super well connected by Metro, bus and car.
Your activities/duties
- Involved in the design and development of Platform SW Architecture based on Kubernetes and Cloud.
- Support the Software team during the transition to Microservices and Streaming architecture.
- Support design and delivery of CI/CD pipelines in cooperation with Software and QA teams
- Monitor our systems and deployments, bringing automation and alert management into the picture.
- Support security audit and certifications (ISO 27001). Identify security improvements and implement them through automation
- Support both our commercial and internal products.
Must have
- Willingness to contribute and enjoy within a startup environment where Commitment, Customers and Communication are our core company values.
- Good communicator, good documentation skills, team player.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined and result-oriented
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Upper intermediate English
- Knowledge of best practices for the full SW development lifecycle, including agile, coding standards, source control management, build processes, testing, release management and operations
- Solid experience with Container Runtime Interface (e.g. Docker) and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Proficiency in Linux OS Administration (Ubuntu/RHEL)
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, etc.…
Nice to have
- Software development background (Go, Java, Scala, etc..)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Package management (Helm)
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc…)
- Open source contributor
- Experience during security certification procedures like ISO 27001 and/or SOC2.
